Yay, friends! And yay for meeting another ace! As for languages, for a few years now (again) I haven’t taken any language courses, but I haven’t managed to forget everything even of those languages I don’t use actively, and the (curious?) attitude towards language is always there – and it’s lovely to know people who share perhaps something like that.
I post now at least weekly on DW and cross-post on LJ, and it’s all fanfic or related to fanfic, but I don’t mind seeing real life posts in my feed. I don’t think I’ll get active on Tumblr. When I’ve gone over there, I’ve found it confusing, and I’ve only participated in one fest, which fortunately posted on AO3. I do hope you’ll write fanfic – in HP!
I’d love to meet your Severus. I’ve often thought that he’s the most fascinating character in canon. But, hopelessly addicted to writing about my Remus’s life (although not only from his perspective, and also stories about other characters, just without contradicting my single headcanon), I’ve comforted myself by saying that Lupin’s characterisation needed the HBP-and-DW-divergence more. Snape appears in only one scene in my long post-OotP fic, but recently I’ve ended up writing two little Snupin fics. Oh, there’s a reference to minor Snupin in my latest AO3 post, too. But I don’t mean to say my Severus would satisfy a serious Snape fan.
In any case, if you happen to find anything you like among my fic, I’d love to hear about it. The reason I write fanfic is this chance to interact with other writers and readers.
